Wirelessly connecting macbook with connect360. Help!

Hey all,
I really need some help,

I'm trying to use connect 360 but my macbook isn't synching with my xbox.

My setup is this:
- Windows xp PC connected to modem (2wire 2701hg-g) through an ethernet cable.
- modem connected to xbox 360 through ethernet.
- Macbook connected to modem through wifi.

When I plug my macbook to the modem with an ethernet cord connect360 finds my xbox. No deal with wifi though. Just wondering if the setup i'm going for is even possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is Airport turned on and able to find your wifi network?

Yeah airport is turned on and I am able to connect to my wifi network.
