I wonder where can I get information and course for video such as editing software, technical specs, technics, accessories, and more. I dont know anything about the video camera and cinema camera. Such as 4:2:2.

I know it's not late to study video but any suggestions?

I'd give lynda.com a try. I believe they have a free trial membership. I've learned a lot over the years from the tutorial videos on that site.

lynda has very good tutorials for software. But I would start with youtube. All depends on what you want to learn about video. Do you want to be a editor, make a youtube channel or just do better home videos. There are alot of good videos on youtube that you can learn almost everything you need for free.

There also is a lot of outdated info on youtube, so check when it was made. Along with lynda.com, check out Ripple Training and their youtube channel, MacBreak Studio.

What do you mean by learn? Technical skills on a certain app or the "craft of the edit" which is the relationships between edits? They are very different, one can be taught and the other really cannot, either you are or you are not a video artist..

Many can be very technically skilled, but lack the artist's soul to be video artists, video should be thought of in the same way as painting, you are painting a frame using video, audio, the way you grade, the relationships between each edit, this comes from within...I am a video editing artist, I can edit so as to send a message, but I cannot paint with a paintbrush...

In the end it is about developing your own technique, your own voice as a video editor, the technical skills are easy, just get the app and start using, it soon becomes easy, but what frame to edit on, what volume to set the audio, a j cut, an l cut, wipe or dissolve...that comes from you, inside, what feels to you as the best..no one can say it is right or wrong, does it help or hinder the edit? Only you know...
