Wished cosmetics changed but going from black 3G to white 3GS

so it's still a slight difference and feels like a different phone at least

i've always been on the fence about white when 3g first came out, now i really like it and always envy iphone owners with the white one.

Hah, I have a white one now, so I opted for the black.

Though with my rebel serpent case on it, it feels like I have the black one anyway.

I'm glad the outside of the iPhone didn't change. This way I can order my free replacement from Zagg and not have to buy a new one for $24.95.

Does the white get really dirty? I haven't actually seen a white iPhone out in the wild yet but I've seen lots of black 3Gs and metal fist gens. I guess having white could make you feel a bit more 'exclusive' but I always thought of white turning brown after a while.

The word on the street seems to be that they are not at all prone to color changing.

Mine is still as white as it was the day I got it (month after launch). Boat load of stress cracks though, hopefully they fixed that.

I think Im going to go black on the next one since wifey is getting this one.
