with garage band could i do this?

I have a series of songs by a group of singers i want to crop out 1 artist verses and combine them into 1 song. is this fairly easy to do in garage band?

I'm not terribly familiar with garage band but I believe this would be something you could do if you're able to import and edit mp3's.

If I understand correctly you basically want to cut and paste your favorite parts of different songs into a medley as one track? If Garage Band doesn't work for this, a free program called Audacity should.

yes this is what i would like to do, I don't want to install garage band if i can't do it.
