With the Advance Replacement, how big is the hold on the credit card?

With the Advance Replacement option for the iPad, how much of a hold does apple put on your credit card?

I know that in Canada when I order from apple.ca, a higher hold than the actual cost is placed on my card.

Example: I bought an unlocked iPhone 4 for $659 and $730 was held on my card, and of course only 659 was charged. So you may get more held than you paid, but Apple won't rip you off.
