Hello, I was wondering if this were possible and if so how more or less could I do it? use one of the ethernet ports for my inside network for the mac and run a virtual machine and assign it its own IP using an outside static IP, or a scenario similar, what Id like to accomplish is to use OSX for my daily work use, and just use a virtual copy of windows a server for receiving data back to it.

So you want to create a Windows Server virtually on your system? I'm not sure what you're getting at

If you want 2 physical ethernet ports, you can use the integrated one and then buy a USB ethernet port.

Yes. You don't need anything special to do it.
