My watch used to be responsive to this more vertical position when flicking the wrist, but now I really need to position the screen facing up to light up... Common Apple you can do better...

Also is it my impression or the watch faces got a little smaller? As a UX/UI designer I can notice these details... I remember when presenting the new watchOS 10 they showed a new grid to fit the complications and to unify the whole UI but in return we lost some screen estate...


 
I noticed the same thing. Also, there seem to be lags for loading watch hands(!) and complications. This feels like a beta. I was happy with how stable and predictable the watch reacted before this update.
