last week, I took the plunge and upgraded to the 2TB plan on my iCloud account. (mostly because my family of 4 finally all switched to iPhones/Macs)

without thinking, I uploaded over 300gb of stuff to just 1 folder on iCloud. They mostly include zip files of family photos, videos, back-up files, and other random large files. They are now all in a folder named "Uploaded 2021"... :(

I uploaded them from my Windows PC via Chrome browser, directly to iCloud.com website.

How can I arrange the files into individual folders without reuploading? I can create new folders, but I don't see how I can drag existing files into the new folders?

Thanks for your help!

Apple's iCloud help explains how to do it. Select and drag to the little folders at the bottom of the screen to move documents up to a common folder. Then you can drag them into subfolders.

I did read that page and coudln't find the "little folders" at the bottom....

Then it finally occurred to me that I had my Windows 10's resolution set to 125%. That makes everything on the screen bigger and all other apps and websites just resize accordingly.... not so with iCloud.com where the larger size just pushes the "little folder" out of sight completely.(guess iCloud.com wasn't built for Windows users? :) ) I managed to get around this by lowering it to 100% or by zooming out the browser to 70% to 80%... now I can see the little folders to move files around.

Thanks! :)
