Like many of us mac users I came across that dreaded WM3 codec error and seeing how MS is being jerk and not releasing a new WMP, I thought I was screwed royally. But then I found Isquint, yes the video converter for your Ipod. so i thought "egh what the deuce?" so i tried to convert one of the videos i had with the WM3 codec and lo and behold when it was finished converting...it was playable! hopefully this helps out others who come across this problem.

isquint can be downloaded here:

If the file is DRMed, you are SOL. Nothing on the Mac plays DRMed Windows Media.

I thought it was just PPC Macs that had that problem, Intel Macs should play DRM WM files just fine (with programs like VLC).
