i was trying to import my music into itunes and some of the music would not import. i then noticed that the folders that were not being imported contained music that was wma. is there a way to get wma files into itunes? if so how? if not how could i resolve this issue? thanx.

The Mac version of iTunes can't handle WMA files...you'll need to convert them. If you have access to iTunes for Windows, that will do it. Otherwise you'll need a third-party app. EasyWMA is a popular one, but it costs a few bucks.
