Hello,

Some time ago I noticed that my MacBook Pro from december 2009 has a new input/output audio device called WMSound. Google gives me nothing on this and the only thing I could find were these files associated with it:

jp.co.axe-inc.WMsound5s.plist
jp.co.axe-inc.WirelessManager5s.bom
jp.co.axe-inc.WirelessManager5s.plist
jp.co.axe-inc.WMsound5s.bom

In the System Profiler I also found under Software -> Extensions the extension "WMSound.kext"

This is the info associated:

WMsound:

Version: 1.1.0
Last Modified: 08/12/2009 03:21
Get Info String: Version 1.0.0
Kind: Intel
Architectures: i386, x86_64
64-Bit (Intel): Yes
Location: /System/Library/Extensions/WMsound.kext
Kext Version: 1.0.0
Load Address: 0x1b15000
Valid: Yes
Authentic: Yes
Dependencies: Satisfied

As I did not install any new audio devices I was wondering what this might be and if other people with a MBP have the same extension.

No one has ever seen something like this? .bump.

Sorry for the bump, but it did work :)
Do you mean VMware, as I can not find wmware in google.
