Why everytime that I open a .wmv file I get, "Cannot open the file. Verify that the path and filename are correct and try again." HELP!

Thanks,
Chris

Is this error message coming from Windows Media Player, Finder, or somewhere else? Can you tell?

If its WMP try trashing your preferences files, that has fixed some of my prblems with WMP in the past.

yeah it's coming from the windows media player. How do I trash the prefrences your talking about

thanks

The WMP Preference file is found in

/users/username/library/preferences/Windows Media Player Prefs

Drag that to the trash and empty it.

Hope that fixes the problem.
