WMV to AVI

I made a few mistakes during my Windows days. One of the most serious ones was to convert movies I'd taken on my digital camera to WMV. Bummer.

I would now like to convert these to AVI, I know AVI is a M$ format but it seems to work well in OS X.

Can anyone recommed a program that I could use to convert from WMV to AVI or even DIVX?

AVI is not a Microsoft format. Its a container format, and can contain any number of different video codecs.

The easiest way to do what you want would be to download THIS, and then use quicktime to convert the file to any other format you would like.
