Well, I have the idea of merging my coveted iPad Pro and existing 15" MBP into one device - the 2017 Macbook. I've tried one before, but always noticed (and this was across like 5 devices) that it doesn't sit flat on a table, particularly at the front right foot.

Can anyone report in if the 2017 models have the same issues?

It's wafer thin aluminium. Just picking it up with one hand can torque it enough to make one foot raise slightly.

Just close the lid and apply gentle pressure to the corners with your thumbs, two at a time diagonally - i.e. top left and bottom right, then top right and bottom left.

Then it will sit flat.

This has been the case since 2015.

Yep, I remember this being repeated over and over when it launched - but I'd prefer to not have to bend my computer to the correct shape, if I can help it :)

Well by handling it in a normal fashion you'll eventually end up bending it one way or another regardless. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
