Download Wolfenstein Enemy Territory 2.60d -> http://downloads.aaxxss.com/files/WolfET.2.60d.dmg

Drag the Wolfenstein ET folder to your Applications folder.

Run the punkbuster installer.

Download a punkbuster etkey -> http://etkey.org/

Put a copy of the etkey in the following location: ~/Library/Application Support/Wolfenstein ET/etmain

- Launch the game to create these directories or create these directories manually.​

Set screen resolution via the following commands in the game console (press ~ after launching the game to view game console) :

/r_customwidth XXXX
/r_customheight XXXX
/r_mode -1​

Didn't work for me

Hi,

I followed your suggestions and even added to autoexec.cfg the following:
seta r_colorbits "32"
set r_allowExtensions 0

However, when I try to connect to a server, the game quits and appears this message "VM_Create on UI Failed".

Anyone know how to solve this?

Why have you set the following args?

seta r_colorbits "32"
set r_allowExtensions 0

I believe "set r_allowExtensions 0" is causing the issue.

So I used to play ET a fair amount before I switched to mac in 2008 but I've never managed to get punkbuster to work right on the Mac version.

I always get "cannot authenticate" errors in the console and kicked for "PB INIT failure"

I've just deleted both /Applications/Wolfenstein ET and /Library/Application Support/Wolfenstein ET

and downloaded a fresh copy. I put the key from etkey in (it didn't work at all without that)

right back to the same problems!

Anyone get this to work?

Tried it with firewall off and my router set to DMZ even, in case there was a problem there, but no difference.

can't start ET on mac book pro

help !!!
I just changed my old macbook for a new mac book pro on lion. installed wolfet 2.60 d + pb + et key.
when i launch the game, it sounds like a bomb is exploding in the computer. desktop freezes and i need to restart.

is there something wrong with the version ? should i go for 2.60c + patch ?

1) unless for the sound "click problem" ... solution for me :

added the

~/Library/Application\ Support/Wolfenstein\ ET/etmain/autoexec.cfg

file with :

seta r_colorbits "32"
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customwidth "1680"
seta r_customheight "1050"

i have an 10.8.3, so just try ... and tell me

the main problem i get (not explained in any forum) was the "punkbuster" INIT/KICK/****** problem when the game was loaded and connected to my favorite 188.165.230.146 server :

the 2) punkbuster update was necessary ...

Uninstall ET completely

hello everybody,

I got some issues, my ET stays fixed on just one game server, which appears in the main windows menu. I have no idea how this server got preference in my game but I can't find no way to get rid of it, plus the game keep crashing every time I try to play.


How can uninstall the whole ET? does anybody knows all the relative folders' paths on mac in the library sections?

I found some and erased them but the problem persists.

I'm on mac lion 10.7.5

Hi everyone...i've been trying to REinstall Enemy Territory on my Mac OS 10.6.8 and every time i do i get this SKY-E.Beginners & Polski Server options ONLY, i can't join any other servers as my list won't populate ...is there a hidden file somewhere i should delete ? very frustrating to say the least, any help would be great !
