Hey guys,

So I stupidly bought a $300 iBook on eBay. The seller said that it was manufactured in 2006 and that everything "worked great". Turns out that the battery was dead, the mouse clicker broken and the monitor defective. Anyway, I won my eBay case, but now is says that I have to log into the "Resolution Centre" and provide online tracking information for the package. What does this mean? How do I get the "online" tracking details?

Also, should I pay extra to have him be required to provide a signature?

Any other advice? Thanks!

You need to ship it back using a service that allows online tracking, such as UPS or whatever. You then give the tracking number to eBay/PayPal/whoever so they can make sure it gets back.

I would also recommend the signature, just in case. People tend to be stupid when it comes to things like this and try to claim items didn't actually get shipped, etc.

This is the best advice. Also, check with ebay.
