2.1 is starting to suck even more.

the only good thing is now i get a little bit better battery life.

i had no problems with 2.0.2 otherwise.

That may not be caused by the 2.1 update. I don't know this for sure though. I've personally been very pleased with the 2.1 firmware. It has been very stable and has improved battery life, backup time, and several other things. The only thing I don't really care for is the new edge and 3g icons but that is merely personal preference.

well with 2.0.2 my mail was pushed within 30seconds.

and now with 2.1 i missed a whole days worth of emails (9 to be exact). they werent important ones. but they still didnt get pushed

I don't see how 2.1 firmware would effect Yahoo's 3rd party email server, or any reason why it would handicap the push function to Yahoo. It is likely the server itself.
 
My mail isn't pushing or fetching itself anymore. I have to open the e-mail application to trigger it to get mail. It was working up until last night(sun.). I installed 2.1 Friday night.

hmmm... interesting. i just posted in another thread that my mail just fetched itself. i realize why now. i'm playing music now, so the phone isn't asleep anymore. they have got to fix this. we now need 2.1.1!!!
 
That's strange. My push email through MobileMe is faster. Before it would take 1-3 minutes now it's damn near instantaneous.
 
The Exchange piece went in the crapper too now. I have to manually sync now. Oh how I love it when things are fixed:apple:
