Wondering...

I was just wondering about some stuff...

I have a PB 500, and I was wondering if I could use a new power thingy(the white block style one) instead of the yoyo style one.

and secondly,

I might get an iPod 10 gb. which means it does not have a dock, remote and case. I was wondering..without a dock, does it still charge via Firewire (like the 1/2 gen of iPods)?? And do you think i should get a remote? is it useful? I dont know......

Yeah, all iPods charge via the FireWire port. I would also get the remote. I have a 10GB G1 iPod, I bought the remote as soon as it came out, I find it very handy.

All the PBw can use the current replacement charger. I had my old one die and had to replace it and it wasn't an issue.
