My 2006 Macbook Pro seems to be starting to act it's age. Increasingly when I'm typing random keystrokes happen. Or a few keystrokes will be inserted into text on a different part of the page.

At it's worst the problem makes the laptop unusable.

Suggestions?

sounds like it's dirty and the contacts that make the keystrokes may be interrupted or inadvertently pressed down when you type other keys. I'd open it up and see what's in there and clean it out. Even spray air might help.
