My 2g iPod Touch will not connect to the internet. It was fine yesterday, then today, it will connect to a wireless network, but nothing will load in Safari, iTunes, or my mail - it's "hourglassing" then it just stops!

Any suggestions? I tried syncing to my computer iTunes, but no luck :( I upgraded the firmware as well in hopes of that fixing it, but it's still not working.

Try shutting your ipod down by simultaneously holding down the power and home buttons. Then restart with the power button. This usually solves most problems. I have also found that going into wifi settings and turning wifi off and then back on often reestablishes connection that has been lost. There are other threads in this touch forum that cover wifi connection issues. You may want to do a search on this topic (available at the top of each MR page).
