Hello,

I sent myself a word document from a windows computer via email. However, when I try to open it my mac, it wont open. All that pops up is:

I've tried opening the document with all of them. When I try to open the document with some of them I get this:

It is a .doc file. Any help? I'm desperate.

Note: I tried opening it with windows on my mac and no luck their either :(

Thanks in advance,

What happens when you open it with Word? By the way, after looking at the file name, it looks like you emailed an open document. Try closing the document on the Windows system, then email it.

What do you mean, emailed an open document. Does that really matter?

It looks like you sent yourself the temporary file that Word uses for auto-save information and that sort of thing (that file disappears when you close the document).
