Won't Send Text or MMS

I know this has probably been posted but I tried looking through the different threads and couldn't find anything that helped...

Is anyone else having issues sending text/MMS on the IOS4? I just got the iPhone 4 yesterday and it won't send any sort of text or MMS messages. My husband is having the same issue on his 3GS iOS4 update. Thanks!
