I've done the following:

- set up a trial account, eg, name@me.com
- set up mail to receive and send email to new me.com account: it works
- downloaded 1.1
- can sign in via System Preferences

However...

- when I go to Account Details I'm asked to sign in and receive, "Invalid member name or password"

- when I go to me.com and try to sign in, the same thing happens.

A few people have noted the same problem and said it was fixed when they changed their password. How do I change my password if I can't sign in??

UPDATE:

After downloading 1.1, I went through System Preferences (clicked on Mobile Me icon) and logged on.

- I clicked on Account Details. Took me to Mobile Me and asked for name and password. Received "Invalid member name or password."
- Clicked on "Forget Password"
- Went through the online reset using security questions, option 2
- Reset password

I can now sign on through System Preferences AND me.com

I know they have having issues with login and stuff ( btw where did u get 1.1 download at)

When I signed on via System Preferences (.mac icon). Clicked on Account Details. Rec'd a pop up that 1.1 was available. Downloaded, .mac icon became Mobile Me icon.

I can sign on through System Preferences, but can't get into Account Details and can't sign on at me.com.
 
I'm having the exact same problem. Push is working fine and I can send/receive e-mail from my .me account on my iPhone and my Mac, but I can't sign in through the web interface. That's been the case ever since the cutover.

I don't know if it matters or not, but I *am* on a trial account.

It will probably be a good week before everything i figured out
 
trial acct doesnt matter, i cant get into my web mail also. can get into everything else, just not mail.
