What do you guys think... Would you buy one?

Would you rather go with a bumper-like case, or a fully enclosed case that covers the back as well?

Nothing really grabs my eye with wooden cases except elegant finishes, what makes you attracted to them?

hmm, too many choices for my 4S.

Yep.

Anything other than a rubber case is a compromise. I don't think you should compromise.

Speck makes good ones, tried and true. I've let my CandyShell get dropped/fly onto onto hard cement multiple times with no problems

Hey, thanks for all the reply's... but i wasn't really looking for advice on which case to get, just what you thought on wooden cases.

so, thoughts...

I currently have a Tiger Design Blade case, and it definitely hinders my signal.

I think the wooden cases look great, too. But I'm a klutz. I picked up a cheapo case mate leather flip case at Target while I'm trying to find an answer to what cases have a wide enough dock port to accommodate the Scosche PassPORT (anybody?!!! suggestions??!!!!). I've already dropped the phone once right on its face and was very glad to have the leather and metal screen protection. If the wood cases came with a silicone interior lining, they'd seem like a better bet.
