Woot! I got a job!

I'm graduating from my college with a degree in Computer Science December 21st. Anyways, I've been looking for a job before i graduate for 3 months now and have applied at approximately 74 places. I finally got a job! I'll be level 2 support for database assistance, salaried at 55k + benefits! OK . . . so it's not programming . . but oh well! Sorry for the rambling random post, but I had to tell someone.

Gotta start somewhere, congrats! I just got a new job too and won't graduate until next May. I didn't really want a job now but one of my instructors referred me and I figured I'd take it now and save the hassle of hunting for one later.

Awesome...congrats man! Considering alot of people who were guaranteed jobs in the summer have lost them (thanks to the economy's meltdown), this is great news!
