Woot-off today!

There is a Woot-off today! I don't know if people in these parts use woot, but there has already been some cool stuff since midnight, like a wireless keyboard/mouse (in white!). I think it might have been the MS one. There was also a iPod docking station.

For those of you who don't know, woot.com is a site that usually sells one technology product a day, at great savings, and when it gets sold out, you wait for midnight and they put a new product out. Once every month or so, a wonderful thing happens called a woot-off, where they don't wait a whole day to offer a new product, they just offer one when the current one sells out. They can last one to three days, and it is one of the most magical things on the Internet.

A 1080i HDTV from Westinghouse to be exact. Not much of a deal there, is it...The last few, the wine, thermometer and TV have been underwhelming to say the least.

And ezzie - don't feel bad, you can't order wine online in Maryland, so wouldn't have been able to get it anyway. Although, you are close enough to WV, and I'm sure you know someone who lives there...

Nothing has caught my eye yet, I am waiting for a usb hub!

Oh, and the TV is 46 inches, not 42, and is selling sloooooowww. It probably won't start up again until 5:00ish eastern.

My first woot! I picked up that SanDisk 512MB MP3/WMA Player with FM Tuner and Voice Recorder . I am going to use it to listen to my radio programs on the train and at work! 20 bucks shipped, can't be beat!
