Woot is still hosting a sale on Apple Watch Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop bands, with a bit of a different ruleset compared to previous sales. This time, when you buy any Solo Loop or Braided Solo Loop at a discount on Woot, you'll get up to two extra bands for free.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Woot. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

The way it works is when you purchase any Solo Loop band for the discounted price of $19.99 ($29 off), you will get two additional Solo Loop bands for free. When you purchase any Braided Solo Loop for the discounted price of $29.99 ($69 off), you will get one additional Braided Solo Loop band for free.

The catch here is that you won't be able to pick out the color of the bands. You start by selecting the size of the band and Apple Watch model, then Woot will randomly select three Solo Loop bands or two Braided Solo Loop bands to send to you.

Woot guarantees that each band will be a unique color and there will be no duplicate colors in each box. These are also in new condition and come individually packaged in their original Apple retail packaging, as well as with a one year Apple manufacturer limited warranty.

Although there's a bit of risk at play in Woot's new sale, these are massive discounts on the Apple Watch bands, and it's a great way to expand your band collection and try out new colors. This sale will run through May 9 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

I’m curious, are these real? Or counterfeits? Because this is a really good deal…

My band stretched out and I loved it but now it barely fits my wrist…

These are Apple original, new in box, bought a solo loop and received 2 extras.
I was hoping for any green, blue or dark color and received the Winter Blue Color (is the same blue tone from the iPhone 13 Pro Max, that I like), and also received a red and white bands, these 2 are old, 44 mm, and the blue is recent 45 mm, that came with the new box style, smaller.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. I think these are older, because I couldn't find a couple of these colors on 's website. But still an amazing deal.

I got mine yesterday and got red and pink ones. Not likely to wear them often due to the colors, but nice to have at that price as I wasn't even sure I'd like the braided loop bands. Not 100% sure I like them as they fit a little looser than I normally have it, despite being relatively hard to get over my XXL hands onto my dainty wrists...

I'm a lot happier with the colors i got of the standard bands. i got a black, abyss blue, dark cherry, and cypress - all of these are great colors - in addition to a lemon and a nectarine, for $40. They must not move as many of these as they have the braided ones.

But the braided loops are just SOOOOO much more comfortable.

These are legit, old stock from past years.
The shipping package does not do a great job so the band boxes are little beat up.
Other than that, these are great.

Yeah, so I'm wondering if it's worth a spin to see if I'd get at least one color I like.
This is to clear out the colors that didn’t sell in the regular sale. As I remember it was mostly beige and white that was left. I think there might have been a violet as well, but not sure.

I used the sale to test out the silicone Solo Loop and got fairly lucky with colors. I got White, Dark Cherry (purple), and Nectarine (electric orange). The first two look well-matched with my Gold SS S7. Haven’t tried the orange one yet but two for $20 is decent regardless.

Only real catch is you can’t return them if sized wrong. When I first got a Braided Solo, I followed the sizer exactly and bought an 8. The thing was a loose bangle inside a week. I traded it to Apple for a 7 which lasted a year before slipping up and down my wrist. I bought a 6 to replace it and that held ok until now.

So for silicone Loops through this sale I went for a 7, figuring it’d be stiffer than the Braided one, and it’s pretty tight—at the small end of comfortable. I think it’ll stretch out to exactly fit, which is better than becoming too loose, but it’s a bit of a gamble. That’s going to be doubly true if you’ve never had either model before and don’t know what to expect with loosening.
