Hey guys and gals,

I am trying to work on a group project with my Mac. My teammates all have PC's. Whenever they send me their Powerpoint presentation over email, I cannot open them! It shows thier file as a zip. I double click it and then it just opens some other type of zip file. Can someone help me? Or is Office for Mac not compatible with Office for PC?

Sounds like they might be using Office 2007 and saving it as PPTX(?). If that is the case you can ask them to save it as PPT. or you could try the converter

I think it would be best to ask them to save it as .ppt because it is always best to work with the native format rather than converting it. But glad it solved your problem.
