Hi,

I have Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac, Version 11.3.8 and Endnote X.0.2

When I try and use any of the Endnote applications within Word, I get a duplication of the Word menu bar. This can happen multiple times with multiple menu bars all squashed in.

Has anyone else experienced this with their Word version, or know how I can avoid this?

Thanks,
Joan

Does this happen if you are logged in as another user?

I have logged in as the root user, and no it does not happen... I do not have any other user accounts on my mac.

Well, it not happening in root should suffice, though creating a test user is quick and painless.

What it means is that it's not a real bug, as in a problem reproducible with Word or EndNotes, but a problem localized to your user. Now the hard part is for you to find where the problem lies.

Does it only happen with certain documents? Or any new document that you create and use EndNote with?
Tried removing your Word and End Note preference files?
