Hi,

I need to prepare a Word doc for my students that has every 3rd word blanked out.

In the past, as I was doing this myself I'd simply change the background colour to be the same as the font colour. This allowed me to later unhide all the words simply by changing the global background colour to white (via select all).

This allowed me to give the students a paper with blanks they needed to fill in, whilst keep a model answer for me.

No, however, I have rather large documents, and instead of being random, I want to blank out every 3rd (or 4th etc) word in a document.

Is there a fast/automated way to do this? What if I exported to Excel and somehow converted it back into a meaningful document? Sounds like a horrible solution.

What ideas do you have? Any and all are appreciated.

Thanks:)
