Hey guys, a problem arose today when i was trying to use word. When i downloaded a resume template online, after i finished filling it out, when i went to close word i got an error saying "word cannot fire event message." After closing the program when i go to reopen the document, i get this message

and when i go to close it, i again get the "fire event" message.

oddly enough though, when i create a NEW BLANK (with no template) document and save it, i dont get any errors. even when i open it up, no errors.

edit.
i also dont get any errors from the included templates, except one. the included calendar template give me an error.

i read this was a virus inside the mac program. but isn't it supposed to affect everything and not just my calendar and (im assuming) downloaded templates?

any help? i dont want to go through the wholeeeee trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling.
