Client has an Apple network with Xserve server plus xserve software 10.4.8
One user logs onto the new 20" iMac (2.66mhz - 2GB ram) and after she opens Word and then closes and logs off the computer, the screen goes to her desktop picture and hangs. If she tries to shut down she gets the death screen. If she logs on and then off - no problem either logging off or shutting down but as soon as she opens Word the problem starts.
This user gets the new computers when they come in and we use her as a guinea pig.
Have reinstalled the OS on this computer, have reinstalled Word on this computer to no avail. The local user (adminlocal) for this iMac has no problems opening closing Word etc. I have dumped all the preferences for user, moved all the MS fonts from the MS folder, changed the file location to a specific folder on the network, all to no avail.
Any help - ideas?
