I'm drawing up a diagram, and I find that I always have to individually set the text wrapping to "in front of text" otherwise everything jumps all over the place. This is a pain.
Firstly, is "in front of text" the ultimate wrapping style for an unobtrusive drawing items? I basically want them to not interact or push around anything, I'm just making a big gap between paragraphs for the sketch.
Secondly, how can I change the default wrapping style? Selecting "set autoshape default" doesn't do it, and I can't find anything in the preferences menu.
On a side note, I also find it very annoying that the autoshape default for a new document is this bizarre light blue with shadows, which I have to change every time to black with no shadows. I dream of a day when I have a good word document program! Does word '11 or the most recent pages solve these issues? Or have people switched over to Pages?
