Bought my first Macbook Pro the other day, trying to edit my resume with Word for Mac, the save file is over 110 MB for a 17 page PDF file, like what the hell, never had this kind of problem with the exact same file on my Windows laptop, can anyone help me fix this issue?

Thanks

Can you please post a pic of the export settings window that opens when you click to save as/export? Hit command+shift+4 at once to capture a screen shot.

Try shrinking it in OS X's preview app.,

If you have adobe acrobat reader installed, double clicking on the PDF won't work, right click and select open in Preview.

Select File->Export

and in the drop down box, select reduce files size
