Has anyone else noticed/experienced the little bubble that pops up while typing to suggest a word is blurry on the iPad? It is nice and clear on my iPhone, but it seems like no matter what application I am using on the iPad the text is not as crisp or clear as I'm used to. It's almost as if it is just being magnified from the iPhone size rather than redeveloped for the iPad.

Yes. Noticed that yesterday.

To replicate:
  • hold iPad in portrait
  • Start typing onomatopoeia into "Search Forum" input box above
  • After o n o m the suggestion is blurry.

Odd.

Yessss! You have no idea how glad I am to see this thread lol. I thought either my iPad was defective or my eyes were going lol. Glad it's just a software issue.

iPad and Words with Friends

My mother plays WWF on her iPad all the time. When a letter was moved from the row of tiles to the board, it would not magnify as it does on the iPhone until today. All of a sudden it magnifies when a letter is being placed on the board and the magnification is TOO much for the iPad screen...anyone know how to STOP the auto-magnification in this game on the iPad? THANKS!

Different but similar:

When you push and bring up the zoom bubble when trying to move the typing cursor to another location, it seems really blurry too. Much more on my iPad (4.3.1) than my 3GS 4.3.1.
