Wordart in Powerpoint

Trying to insert wordart in a powerpoint slide. "Word art style" selection is not the same as in Word. (You only get one letter in the selection bar as opposed to an entire word in Word, which gives you the different shape/style options. is there a way to do this in PowerPoint?
