Words with Friends Ap

The game seems to really drag after about 7pm - maybe from everyone playing? Doesn't seem to matter, paid or free version - both painfully slow at night.

Also still waiting for an iOS4 update and retina display update. :(
 
I don't think it looks bad on the iPhone 4....

However, I think it drains the battery as it continuously says updating trying to find new moves.

It looks ok as most of the pieces are straight text - but the components that are images stick out - to me anyways. :p

And yeah, I can't wait to see how optimization affects battery and data. I hope there is an update soon.
 
Yeah, I use it. It's a bit addicting and yeah it's a bit slow lately. (=

If you don't have anyone to play with and want to start a lot of games, just type in random user names. I tried to be creative, like: bottomboi, hotboi, cockboy, powertop, gayboi. LoL!!!
 
I love this game. I'm thinking about buying it, but I'll stick with the free version because from what I hear, the free and paid version are slow after a certain time. Its definitely slow at night on the free version.

They need to update their app for 4.0. Ugh.
 
I think their servers just get hammered at certain times. During the day is better, but evenings are slow.

Actually, the paid app seems a bit quicker for me. Possibly it's just that it doesn't have to load ads, but I'm not sure.
 
We noticed that today as well. I'm sure its just from the amount of people playing, but it does get a little old taking forever to send the words or receiving them.
