Words with Friends Stuck Icon Badge?

I dont have any games going on and it is stuck with a red badge that says 1 on it. does anyone else have this or know how to remove this. tried reinstalling and everything.

Happens from time to time. It will fix itself eventually.

Isn't that the constantly-recurring "Notification" about "Auto-Resign Changes" which seems to reappear every time you open the App?

i dont think so, the notification just says that the game will end but the icon is stuck with a badge like when you have a game playing but there is no game
