words with friends

I got sick of the ads and purchased the ad free version of words with friends. I thought it would automatically know who I was but when I try to log on it tells me that I already exist. How do I quit using the old version and how do I have the games in progress transfer?

I have both versions on my phone (yes, I'm too lazy to uninstall it) and I had no problem logging in on both.

Make sure you're using the correct email address and password

Nothing is working. I deleted the "old" free version and probably lost all the games I was playing. I simply cannot log in to the new version. I says that the user name and email are already taken. tried finding the answer on the troubleshooting section but that's not getting me anywhere. Anyone else have this problem?
