My girlfriend's MS Word 08 is acting up, by default it is making everything double lined spaced (as in, turning in for a college essay where a space between each line is needed). But she needs it back to the default setting, and doing the normal Paragraph > line spacing (single) is not working (tried a new document/selecting current documents content).

Is there a fix for this, maybe a preference I can find in the Library folder and delete or just something simple to reset in Words preferences?

Thanks!

By default, the after paragraph spacing is set at 12 points. It also may be that the line spacing has been changed. You can make adjustments in the text inspector.
