Alright, Leopard is way better than Tiger, but somethings took a different route during Apple's biggest update. SimCity 4, a wonderful game with great gameplay, doesn't work well at all on my MacBook Pro. Yeah I have 10.5.2, and that doesn't seem to mater. Glitches and transparency issues clog the game's ability. Maybe some other people have had this same problem.
Anyway, I would like to know about "partitioning." What is this strange and bizarre sounding technique? Can it be done without erasing and losing data? I do have an external hard drive with USB 2.0 and Firewire 400 capabilities. Can I use this as the install source for Tiger? And to finish my many questions, this MBP came with Leopard pre-installed. I heard about not trying to install older operating systems on newer Macs because many Macs have many issues with it. The hard drive specs:
MBP- 186.3 GB Hitachi HTS722020K9SA00 Media (With 41 GB of free space)
Western Digital- 111.8 GB WD 1200BB External Media (With 57 GB of free space)
Should I just go out and buy a 40GB hard drive?
