Working Dongles (Thunderbolt 3 - USB-C)

A short post of dongles working in my setup (MBPro late 2016, 15"):

Club3D USB-C to Displayport Adapter CAC-1507 ( 4k 60Hz with Panasonic VIERA 65AX800 )
Club3D USB-C to HDMI 2.0 Adapter 1611 ( 4k 60Hz with Panasonic VIERA 65AX800 )
With both I had to reboot the 2016 MBPro 15".

Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (worked with my old Elgato Thunderbolt SSD)

noName USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter no problem pairing Apple Wireless Keyboard 2, Magic Trackpad 2, Magic Mouse 2

Is it normal for these USB-C dongles to have to reboot to make them work? Wondering if the official Apple ones act the same.

I encounter the same problem with my adapters. Even a simple USB-C to USB-A adapter causes this kind of issue.
