i got this original idea, from a pic a member posted on another forum a while back. i wanted to buy one, but i also wanted the ability to change and make others. so i bought my own package of sticker sheets, 50 for $8. and some heatless laminate sheets, $3.

the bumper hides the imperfections, so itll do for tonight. but where i cut, was a little inside of how far i want it to go out. but i dont think its too bad for round 1.

template for camera/flash holes.

the reason the $6 one looks better is because they use a glossy 3M type material where as the OP is using a matte finish. if he were to find the glossy at that price he could produce stickers and sell them for $5 a pop and turn a nice little profit

i tried another one last night. found a better image(color, resolution, etc). this one turned out a little better. that link posted was actually where i got the idea from. someone else showed me that. i wanted to buy one, but they are currently sold out, i think. and i also didnt want to spend $6 on one, when i can do what i did and make different ones to my exact liking.

the only issue im not completely happy with is thge camera/flash cutout. right now, im using a holepuncher. i dont know that i would be able to do any better with a knife... hell, id probably make it much worse.

that is correct. i was looking for the cheapest and smallest pack they had. i didnt want to spend $20+ on good paper before knowing how well it would work. now that i know it does... i can get some high gloss photo paper and laminate that. itll probably shine too much, if thats possible.

compared to mine. and then the original.

me, using the matte paper played a large roll, as well as the cheap laminate. but other than that, my colors came out more accurate and with more detail.

im thinking about doing another one, same or difference design, havent decided... but im considering covering the flash. so itll be just one hole cut exactly for the camera lens, and thats it.

other than testing how well the flash worked when i first got the phone... ive never taken a flash photo.

im drawing a blank on ideas here. but how about a back skin that looks like the front? im sure that would confuse a few onlookers.

You should probably create that in Illustrator or at the very least set the color mode to CMYK in Photoshop. Then the black would be black and not bluish when you print it out ;)

Now that is a brilliant idea.. Definitely mock one up to see how looks.
