I'm a religious Strava user and have already used it for a few runs with the apple watch. I'm curious about the Workout app and want to give it a shot, but want my activity to be logged in Strava so I can compare or have a backup just incase the Workout app gives me poor data. Is it possible to use these both at the same time?

Yes. But the times will be off a little. I use Nike running and the workout app at the same time.

I assumed the times would be a bit off (can't stop both apps at the same time afterall). More curious just about the results of distance, calories, etc, from the Workout app.

When I sent both to a predefined distance I always find the workout app to have me running longer

So if I run both of them at the same time, do I need to turn off the setting in the Health app under Strava that says "Allow Strave at Write Data to Workouts"? I don't want it to double count my activity.
