Hi, I am not an expert but today I went out for a short run to try my AW series 4 outdoors and to my surprise the workout app on my iphone doesn't show the heart rate chart however heart rate sensor was working while I was running.

Any tips to get heart sensor as accurate as possible? also I'd like to know how to get the routes too.

Thanks Captura 2019-11-19 a las 21.19.33[10993].jpg

The watch has to be quite tight for running otherwise it can’t read your heart properly. Also I’ve found it works better on my right wrist when running.

I see, I think it was tight enough for measuring my heart rate, as you can see in the screenshot average heart rate was 164 but I don't understand why the chart is blank

Also, do you know how to track routes and how to calibrate the heart sensor?

Doesn’t necessarily matter. I’ve had exactly the same problem. It will give me an individual reading but not the chart if it’s not tight enough.

You track the routes using the workout app on the watch. And you can’t calibrate the heart sensor, nor should you need to - it’s taking actual readings.

Thanks, I just realised motion and fitness is greyed out in inside activity in the privacy section but I can't turn it on.

Any idea how to turn this on?

Not sure but you may need to un-pair, then re-pair your watch. Assuming you’ve restarted everything?
I think while I was setting up my AW for the first time, it asked me to enable "on route something..." I can't remember now exactly but I tapped NO.
