Workout not posting right time to activity?

my wife and I have an apple watch. On hers she has the workout app open walking for example and she works out for a hours and ends the workout. on the activity screen, it only shows that she was working out for 46min??? anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? never seen it happen before and on my watch its fine. they are both series 4 on 5.01

It only shows she was working out, or - as I think you mean - it only shows she was exercising (the green ring) for 46 minutes? If that's the case the answer is simple - she didn't get her heart rate up enough for 14 of those minutes.
