It starts today. Who else is going to watch it? Personally I am pretty excited for this. It will be great to see how other countries really face up to America. Its too bad it has gotten so much bad publicity and that some players have dropped out recently (Vlad and Pedro). None the less, I will be watching it.

I would watch it, if I wasn't in France at the moment :rolleyes:
I agree that it's too bad that the DR won't be at full strength, because they would be pretty fierce (they may be, anyways). I think it'll be a good showcase for national pride from historically underappreciated countries. I'll follow it on the Internet as much as I can.

Cheers!

i want to watch it. my favorite player is on the team: Ken Griffey Jr. yeah i know he's been injured alot lately, but he was the comeback player of the year last year. and probably the best player of the 90's.

anyways, does America play today?

The US plays its first game on Tuesday March 7th
This week is pretty much the Asian teams going at it.
Should be fun to see some ball played by other countries.

Here is the schedule for the entire event;

From what I understand it will be live in Korea so I guess we are not missing much.
