World flashing up on boot

I turned the iMac on a few minutes ago and it came up with the normal white bootscreen but instead of the Apple and the loading circle it came up with just a flashing white and grey image of the world, I pressed the button on the back (not holding it down) and it turned off and when I turned it on again it worked fine and its fine now, but I just want to know what that was or what it indicates, is there a problem with the iMac?

That's the indication that it's looking for a NetBoot server to boot from. This can happen if you hold down the "N" key during startup or if someone selects "Network Startup" in the Startup Disk system preference.

Yeah, my brother was pressing a bunch of buttons (idiot) so thats it.
