What game on the iPad would you recommend for someone who immensely enjoyed World of Goo?

I don't know, I think I was looking for something not so real-time action oriented, as World of Goo is. That's the key.

It's not? From reading a quick description I got the impression it was zombies attacking you constantly while you build defenses.

Even though it's not an iPad game, Eliss is probably the single best touch game ever made. It's addictive, infuriating, exciting, and totally unlike anything else before it. Plus it's easier (read: possible past level 12 or so) on an iPad.

Like most tower defense games it's more about the choices you make at the beginning of any stage/level than any second-by-second action later in the level.
