I am an avid World of Warcraft player and a mac user. Normally I use my Macbook Pro for gaming and work when on the go for business. Will I see increased performance with the baseline Macbook Pro **The new one announced today**

yes, you will, unless you're going 15" with dGPU to 13".

Base 13" without the touchbar probably won't give you a big increase, the CPU in that is 15w compared to the 28w in the one with touchbar (540 and 550 are very similar), assuming you're going from previous gen 13" to this gen's 13".

I have the 12 inch Macbook right now. It's great for portability and it plays WOW decently, but I need something a little more power for applications
